Our center has collaborated for over seven years with several oaxacan families where our students usually stay
and learn more about the language and the culture. Students who have experienced living with a Oaxacan family
have described it as the highligh of their trip. If you are interested in staying with a Oaxacan family during your
stay in Oaxaca, please let us know at least two weeks in advance. Ollin staff or family members will pick you up the the airport or bus station at no extra cost.
Students staying with families have their private room and often private bathroom. One, two or all three meals can be part of the homestay plan.
Homestay Costs:
A. Private room and breakfast: $ 18.00 USD per day
B. Private room and two meals (breakfast and lunch): $ 22.00 USD per day
D. Private room and all three meals: 24 USD per day
Most of our families can offer vegetarian meal plans as well.
Minimal stay required is one week.
